WHY I USE THIS

I keep this with me because safety shouldn’t depend on who’s walking beside me. I want the freedom to go where I want, when I want — without pretending I’m not nervous. And yes… the flashlight alone has saved me from 12 mini heart attacks.

HOW IT HELPS ME ON THE BRUTAL PATH

This is how I enforce boundaries without apologizing for needing them.
It keeps me accountable to future-me — the version who walks home confident, not cautious.  It’s not fear-based; it’s self-respect dressed as voltage.
